About Manitoba Possible

Manitoba Possible is a non-profit organization dedicated to breaking down barriers to full and equal participation through a diverse range of programs and services. We offer 15 program areas serving children, youth, and adults with disabilities across three Winnipeg locations and six regional offices throughout Manitoba.

Together, we can create an inclusive and accessible society for all.

Breaking down

barriers for 70 years

In 1950, we began as the Society for Crippled Children, later growing into the Society for Manitobans with Disabilities. Today, we are Manitoba Possible — we are for an inclusive and accessible society for all.

Our name has changed and our services evolved, but our commitment has remained the same.

Having fun at summer camp: it’s possible through our inclusive recreation programs. Landing a well-paying job with benefits: it’s possible through our employment training. Learning American Sign Language at the same time as English: it’s possible through our classes for Deaf Newcomers

We’re changing perspectives. We’re showing Manitobans exactly what’s possible.

Building an Inclusive Society for All: Our 2025-2030 Strategic Plan

Guided by our core values of collaboration, diversity, and innovation—we’re working to create a more inclusive and accessible for Manitobans with disabilities.

Healthy & Inclusive Workplaces

Be an employer of choice by ensuring employees and volunteers experience workplace practices that promote accessibility, diversity, inclusion, equity, fairness, cultural safety, and mental health and well-being.

A Strong & Sustainable Organization

Implement innovative, sustainable, and accountable practices, with a focus on social enterprise and social financing, to ensure the long-term viability of our organization.

There is much work to do.

We don’t just want to keep pace with the evolving needs of the individuals and families we serve – we want to lead the charge. We won’t be told to wait on the sidelines – we’re changing the rules of the game. Together, we can make it possible!
