Vocational Rehabilitation

Assisting adults with disabilities to find, obtain and maintain employment

what we offer.

Vocational rehabilitation is the progressive process of empowering individuals with disabilities to plan, prepare for, attain and maintain gainful employment. Manitoba Possible vocational rehabilitation counsellors assist participants in exploring their employment goals based on interests, skills and abilities through a comprehensive process:

  • Assessment: Review skills, abilities, interests, educational background, and previous experience.

  • Develop individualized plan: Gather information from assessment and select appropriate goals.

  • Counselling: Receive one-on-one support, education and assistance in obtaining employment.

  • Implementation: Put a plan in action with support from a vocational rehabilitation counsellor.

  • Follow-up: Ongoing support to ensure job retention and satisfaction.
